Offline for EarthHour

It’s Earth Hour on Saturday and you want to show that you care about the planet. Sure you could go the traditional route and turn off your lights for an hour. Or, do something that requires a little more dedication; go offline for an hour. Take the pledge at OfflineforEarthHour.com

This Amazing First-Person Short Film Is Like Mirror’s Edge Meets Reservoir Dogs
Tweet
This short-film from Ilya Naishuller starts out pretty cool then goes flat-out bonkers. I can't really think of a better way to describe it than what's in the headline, but basically—if you're into first-person running and combat, this is right up your alley.

Ted Baker Lines
Tweet
As a spot of homework for Ted’s Finishing School, everybody is writing a set line about etiquette and fashion. Lines can be submitted from anywhere in the world at
www.tedbaker.com/tedbakerlines or via Instagram and Twitter with the hashtag #TedBakerLines
The best entries will be displayed on the site and Facebook page with spot prizes given each day for stylish, inventive or funny ways to write the line. Once 500 lines have been written, everyone who entered correctly and in time get an exclusive limited edition Ted Baker tote bag and the most creative entry each day wins a personalised Ted Baker leather satchel. Ted will unveil a new line everyday next week with a different tote bag design each day.
There are already some great entries which are displayed in the gallery at Facebook
Today's line is "I never seek attention, I let it seek me". A new line will be revealed tomorrow and on Friday.

Google Maps: Explore the Grand Canyon
Tweet
On their quest to map the earth Google Maps has gone off road with the release of these panoramic images of the Grand Canyon which allow people to virtually explore this natural wonder by viewing the site with full 360° views.
Google’s ever expanding image collection aims to give people wider access to the world around them. With more than 9,500 panoramas of the Grand Canyon available to view on Google Maps covering more than 75 miles of trails and surrounding roads. The Google Maps team used the Android-operated Trekker, a wearable 15-lens camera system, worn as backpacks around the rocky terrain whilst on foot. It’s pretty impressive to see these sites form the comfort of your desk, explore these images yourself at maps.google.com/grandcanyon. Where else would you like Google Maps to let you explore?
