A mixture enters the concept of “live video painting” and the electronic graffiti, with these rollers of luminous painting developed by the SweatShoppe collective. The roller does not apply any painting to the wall, because it consists of green LED. To discover in the continuation. Beautiful video without post-production carried out at the Queens and Manhattan, thanks to the use of a projector which follows the position of the roller.

Video ads in the newspaper – Harry Potter here we come!

The U.S. company Americhip has developed a solution that allows advertisers to pay the newspaper's traditional print ads to commercials. The magazine Entertainment Weekly will be the first to try the solution when CBS runs advertising in their edition on 18 September.

Technically speaking, it is about a 2.7 millimeter thin screen with resolution 320x240 pixels, which is coupled to a memory that will accommodate up to 40 minutes of video material.

We have previously written about a similar solution when the American magazine Esquire last year, ran the video on its cover. Here you see a taste of what it will look like in Entertainment Weekly. Ok, so its not like in Harry Potter, but in a future near you...?

Not all kids want the same thing for Christmas

As we speak I'm working on a campaign agianst homelessness. When doing research I found these gems. Sorry for bad image quality.

This is a touching advertisement campaign from Covenant House, a child welfare agency, to create awareness about the plight of homeless children. Of course, the ad can squeeze everyone who will come across the advertisement. The advertisement depicts homeless children while covering it with a poster showing average American children with their comfortable and luxurious life.

Though the copy of the ad is in full conformity of the illustration but the photograph itself is efficient enough to make any one to compare the conditions.

The art direction of the ad is excellent with a very good example of photography. The brilliantly written copy of the ad reads as ‘not all kids want same thing for Christmas’. The advertisement campaign has been credited to Taxi, Canada.

Lumière Brothers - The Serpentine Dance (c.1899)

Shot and hand-colored - frame by frame - at the end of the 19th Century. Still captivating today, but just imagine what it must have been like to watch an image move and transform like this in 1899! A beautiful example of the earliest cinematic ART.
