Empty Los Angeles

A project and a series of urban stereotypes entitled “Empty IT” taken by the photographer Matt Logue. It makes it possible to show the town of Los Angeles in an unexpected way, emptied of any population and traffic.

Ross Ching has beautifully adapted Matt Logue's Empty L.A. concept.

My Desk Is 8-Bit / Stop Motion Video Game

"I recently found myself wondering what a video game might look like in the form of a stop motion animation. While a normal person's response to such a question would of course be "who gives a shit?" I possess few of the qualities typically associated with normalcy and was irrevocably compelled to find out. This is the result."

iPad + Velcro = ♥

Two of mankind's greatest inventions, together at last. Note: this is an exploration of what is possible, not necessarily what is practical. Tweet from the street at your own risk!

Starcraft 2 - Official Cinematic Trailer

I’m sure this has been stated…but this is practically spot on with the assembly from Iron Man… The movie Iron Man (1 & 2) might not been the greatest movies of man kind, how ever the assembly of his metal suite is simple awesomeness.

Nike ‘Write The Future’ Markus Tulio Tanaka

I don't know squat what he's saying. Please comment if you know. Anyways the atmosphere is great and I do love the awesome combo of robots and drills... Mmmmmm robo-drill... Nom nom nom.

Samusocial: Asphaltisation

The longer you live on the street, the harder it is to get off it. Great print work from Publicis Conseil, Paris, France.

Probably the Best 3D Projection Mapping Ever - Samsung 3D LED

f you thought that last few projection mapping examples I posted were amazing, then check this out. Samsung have just run three nights of an amazing 3D projection mapping installation in Amsterdam to promote their new range of 3D LED TVs.

Perfectly mapped to a historic building in Amsterdam, the projection realistically cracks the building in half, sending debris shattering down before it fills up with water and then drains into a rain forest revealing the new Samsung 3D LED TV! While I've seen other attempted 3D perspectives, this certainly has to be the best 3D experience I've seen from Projection mapping!

Let's Colour Project

This weekend Euro RSCG London launched the Dulux ‘Let’s colour’ campaign with a TV advert celebrating colour in four cities around the world. The project is called ‘Dulux Walls’ and focuses on a series of painting events in the UK (Virginia Primary School, Tower Hamlets, London), France (Aulnay sous Bois, Paris), Brazil (Lapa, Rio de Janeiro) and India (Chandpole Chowki, Jodhpur).
The film was directed by award winning Director Adam Berg and highlights the journey of colour across the world as people and colour combine to regenerate public and private spaces.

Each local community was engaged to transfer dull and grey spaces into something more interesting using Dulux colour paint. Further events are scheduled to take place around the world in the near future as part of Dulux’s ambition to ‘add colour to people’s lives’. Further campaign information can be found on: http://www.letscolourproject.com/
